Lilia
A downloadable game for Windows
SUMMARY:
Developed in three days for the Valentine's Variety Jam, Lilia is VERY short RPG Maker game where you play as Lilia, a protagonist still affected by a recent break-up with her boyfriend. Through a sudden twist of events, she somehow finds herself in another world governed by three dessert goddesses.
The basic plot of the game revolves around Lilia interacting with these three characters before ultimately selecting one to be her Valentine. ;))) *wink wonk*
The game story is pretty much linear but there are three similar endings with slightly varying dialogues.

DEV NOTES:
Crappy game with a crappy story 8)) I didn't have time to come up with a better story so nothing makes sense. Very cringey too.
I made this by myself so expect a highly unpolished and rushed game. NOTE: You can interact with certain items in the background (like the furniture etc.)

It is a really cute little game, with a lot of good things to say and a few things that could be improved upon :)
First of all, the music really sets a nice atmosphere without being annoying and the sound effects are absolutely amazing at making the whole game feel responsive and interactive and rewarding, especially when it comes to the different dialogue options.
Just the fact that we have different dialogue options was really fun to play as it gave some control over the pacing and the dialogue. Speaking of the dialogue, the story idea is really adorable and I like the personalities of the 3 desserts. The dialogue itself feels really fun and light most of the time, with the plot twist being really nice as well and very unexpected :D
The speed at which the text appears felt pleasant, and the writing of the different personalities of the desserts actually made me want to get to know them more than with just the three provided questions, simply because they are very well written and their dynamic is displayed in a pretty fun and interesting way.
However, the maze part was a bit frustrating, simply because there were no clues as to what was going on until afterwards (or maybe I just missed it?) and when the player would stop walking, the character sometimes proceeds to slide in the same direction for a short amount of time as if they'd be on ice.
Those are only small nitpicks though, the game in general is really cute~
Thank you for the review and for trying out my game! ^^
Yeah I wanted it have a bit of a dating game feel so tried to have the characters have a variety of personalities ; I'm glad this worked out!
I was a bit uncertain about the maze too but I can see what you mean by that! I'll def take all this into consideration for next time. :))
